React Native vs Flutter: choosing the right framework
React Native is our primary recommendation for most Indian businesses — larger developer ecosystem in India, better library support for Indian-specific integrations (Razorpay, UPI, regional map providers), and code sharing with web React applications. Flutter (Google's cross-platform framework using Dart) produces visually smoother UIs with better cross-platform consistency. Flutter is right when visual fidelity is a priority, when you need both mobile and web from the same codebase, or when your engineering team has existing Flutter experience.

Designing a mobile app for Indian users requires: Razorpay integration — UPI, net banking, cards, wallets, and EMI; low-bandwidth performance — image optimisation, lazy loading, and meaningful offline states for variable 4G quality in Tier 2/3 markets; WhatsApp integration — WhatsApp social login and WABA integration for notifications and support; vernacular language support — for consumer apps with national reach, Hindi and/or regional language UI can expand addressable market significantly.
The App Store submission process
Both Apple App Store and Google Play Store review processes can delay app launch by days or weeks if compliance requirements aren't met. Common reasons for Indian app rejections: missing or inadequate privacy policy, requesting permissions not justified by app functionality, in-app purchase implementation that doesn't use the platform's native IAP system, and content guideline violations.
